this is something like a split-12" of just one band, even the cover has two front sides. each member has written one of the "four tunes" on one side wich more represent the edgy part of contriva. the interpretation of depeche mode's "the things you said" on the other side featureson vocals jeff tarlton, a detroit-based psych/folk artist who is now living and working in berlin.
