to record this album the band rented a holiday home in an out-of-the-way part of eastern slovakia and exactly that is what the music sounds like: relaxed beats, undaunted yet melancholic western guitars and slide figures convincingly picture a strong mental calmness right from the beginning. however there was space also for sporadic noise-bursts and one of the rare vocal tracks of contriva. the anti-berlin record of the millenium year came from berlin! mixed by tobias levin (in hamburg).
